This evening (Thursday, January 23), Premier League pace-setters Fairview Rangers and Pike Rovers clash in the Lawson Cup at the Fairgreen. Kick-off is 7pm.
In the FAI Junior Cup, Rangers were weekend 3-2 home winners over St Ita’s to reach the last 16 of this blue riband competition.
Robert Pender and Eric Foley netted for the runners-up, while Josh McCarthy, Oleg Vysochan and Adam Dore scored to ensure advancement for Fairview.
Elsewhere, in-form Janesboro were 3-1 victors over Mungret Regional at Pearse Stadium.
