Limerick school honoured with European Digital School status

Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh became the second Limerick school to be awarded European Digital School status.

A SECOND Limerick school has been awarded with a European Digital School status for excellence in digital teaching and education.

Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh has joined Castletroy College in earning the award, and will now go on to mentor other schools in the Digital Schools Award programme.

The programme aims to promote digital teaching and learning in schools across Europe.

Ciara Ní Dhrisceoil, digital leader at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh, said that the award “reflects the hard work of our entire school community and our dedication to enriching learning and teaching”.

Both Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh and Castletroy College are under the patronage of Limerick and Clare ETB.
