NETWORK Ireland Limerick has announced its first event of 2025, which aims to help its members learn more about themselves and their communication skills.

The Limerick branch of Network Ireland, an organisation that works to support the professional and personal development of women, will host Margot Fox in a discussion on the theme of “Connect, Communicate and Self Regulate.”

The event will take place at Limerick’s Strand Hotel on January 23 from 6.30pm.

Eve Stafford, newly appointed president of Network Ireland Limerick, said that the event will help its members to get more out of life and out of work.

“We are delighted to welcome Margot Fox, of the Fox Way of Life,  to Limerick and for her to share some tips and knowledge at this point in the year, in getting more out of our lives and work,” Ms Stafford said.

“It is an honour to be the 2025 president of Network Ireland Limerick branch. I am privileged to have a wonderful group of volunteers on our committee and such supportive members in the Network.”

Margot Fox is a mental health and wellbeing coach, behavioural trainer, and international keynote speaker who uses story, humour, props, music, and movement to embed ‘the science’.

Network Ireland Limerick said that her training is high-energy and challenges audiences to view the stresses of life in a different way in order to thrive in work and in life.

“Using puppets and chairs to demonstrate our daily behaviours,  I use a method called 5 Chairs, 5 Choices to support us in being more conscious of our behaviours as we go through our working day,” Ms Fox explained.

The schedule of Network Ireland Limerick’s first event of 25 will be jam-packed as Ms Stafford sets out her vision for the year ahead, and will also be introducing incoming Deputy President Barbara Mc Carthy, a PMO Manager from Johnson and Johnson.

Each year, Network Ireland Limerick works with a chosen charity partner to raise money and awareness, and this year’s charity has been unveiled as ALONE – a group that president Eve Stafford says is close to her heart.
