Limerick suffer loss to Dublin in Senior Hurling Challenge match

LIMERICK suffered a 4-20 to 2-20 loss to Dublin in a lively Senior Hurling Challenge at University of Limerick.

Established figures such as Kyle Hayes, Gearóid Hegarty, Séamus Flanagan, and newly installed captain Cian Lynch featured in a starting selection that also included challengers such as Doon pair Barry Murphy and Chris Thomas, Colin Coughlan (Ballybrown), and Garryspillane’s Hugh Flanagan.

In an earlier weekend challenge at the same venue with Antrim, Shane O’Brien (1-4), Patrick O’Donovan (0-6), Micheál Houlihan (0-4), David Reidy (0-4), and Adam English (0-3) were among the scorers in a 1-31 to 0-21 defeat of Antrim.

Game time was afforded to all three goalkeeping options, Shane Dowling, Jason Gillane and Conor Hanley-Clarke.
