Annual run for Milford to return in February

MILFORD Care Centre has announced its 13th annual 10km run/walk fundraiser, which will take place on Sunday February 16. Participants can join in person at Castletroy or virtually from anywhere.

Supported by DELL Technologies and Stryker, the event welcomes all abilities, with proceeds aiding Milford’s vital services in the Mid West.

Irish Olympian Sarah Lavin, a steadfast supporter, launched the event, saying, “I am excited to support and raise awareness for the crucial work done by Milford Care Centre. It is incredibly important and brings great value to the Mid West region. I urge everyone to help Milford in raising the necessary funds for their services.”

Mary O’Brien, Milford’s CEO, expressed gratitude to sponsors and participants, adding that Milford is “excited to welcome participants to our first flagship fundraiser of 2025. Your support is vital in raising funds for Milford Care Centre, enabling us to continue delivering high-quality palliative care and older persons services in the Mid West. Thank you for your generosity, and best of luck to all taking part.”
