THE Land Development Agency has announced that applications will open in the new year for a cost rental scheme in Castletroy.
81 new homes in The Mills will be available to applicants with a net household income of below €59,000, with rental prices starting at €990, while for a two-bedroom property, the monthly rent sits at €1,235.
The homes in Castletroy come with a fitted kitchen and wardrobes, and are A-rated for efficiency.
Cost rental schemes offer long-term secure accommodation for those who cannot afford private market rents and do not qualify for social housing.
Delivered in partnership with Cairn Homes, the apartments at The Mills will open for applications in January and would-be applicants are urged to study the eligibility criteria beforehand.
