A LOCAL GP has proved she’s the top doc after being presented a prestigious medical award from the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Dr Sinéad Spencer was awarded the Ellard Eppel prize by the Irish College of General Practitioners for achieving the highest marks in the country in her medical exams as part of the general practitioner scheme.
Fittingly, Dr Spencer is originally from Hospital, and has worked in Moyross and Ennis.
She currently practices at Newtown Medical Centre in Castletroy.
