AHEAD of the new League of Ireland season, Treaty United run up against Galway United in a friendly fixture at Ennis County Grounds on Friday (7pm).

A week later, Tommy Barrett’s side tackle Temple United in the Munster Senior Cup, to be followed quickly with outings against Cork City (away) and Sligo Rovers (home).

The 2025 First Division campaign begins for Treaty with a visit from Cobh Ramblers to the Markets Field on Valentine’s Night.

Elsewhere, in light of weather warnings and with “health and safety” a concern, local fixtures were wisely cancelled by the LDL last weekend.

On Sunday, Aisling Annacotty host Janesboro (11am) and Pike Rovers host De La Salle in the Munster Junior Cup.
