TWO weeks out from the start of the National Football League, Limerick entertain Laois in an exhibition fixture at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale on Sunday next (1pm).

Itโ€™s another opportunity for Jimmy Leeโ€™s side to familiarise themselves with a plethora of new rule changes which come into effect this season.

At the weekend, Limerick and Clare served-up a lively contest in Askeaton.

Among those to impress were regulars James Naughton, Peter Nash, Tommy Child and Cillian Fahy, while among the quality newcomers were goalkeeper Jeffrey Alfred (Adare), Darren Oโ€™Doherty (Newcastle West), Adam Shanagher (Rathkeale), Seรกn Clancy (Galtee Gaels) and Tadgh and Daraghย ร“ Siochrรบ, Tadgh and Dara, brothers of Monaleen.

Limerick open their Division Four League campaign away to Longford on January 26.
