Local councillor calls for speed survey in Kilmallock

Limerick Sinn Fรฉin councillor PJ Carey.

SINN Fein councillor PJ Carey has called on the local authority to complete a traffic survey on Glenfield Road in Kilmallock.

Cllr Carey wants this done with a view to installing two speed ramps between Scoil Mocheallog and Bellview estate.

He was informed at a recent Cappamore-Kilmallock district meeting that a speed survey will be conducted.

โ€œIf it is determined that vehicular speeds are exceeding the existing speed limit, the roads engineer will determine the most appropriate traffic calming measures that may be required,โ€ the Council replied.
