GARDAÍ do not suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was found amid freezing conditions in County Clare this Sunday morning.

The body of the man, aged in his 60s, was discovered by a passer-by at Sixmilebridge.

Gardaí said local Garda members as well as other emergency services were alerted to a male who was found unresponsive at Rossmanagher Road, Sixmilebridge, County Clare.

“The man died at the scene. His body was removed to University Hospital Limerick,” said a Garda spokeswoman.

“A file will be prepared for the coroner,” added the spokeswoman.
