LIMERICK City and County Council has prepared a draft Town Centre First Plan for the town of Rathkeale.
The plan is “generation and renewal” focused , “with a view to strengthening the role, image, vibrancy, vitality, and resilience of Rathkeale town centre”.
The plan is on public display at the Council offices in Merchant’s Quay and Dooradyole road in the city, as well as in the public library and parish hall in Rathkeale.
There was public consultation events in December, and an upcoming one on January 14 in the Rathkeale House Hotel.
Public submissions can be made before January 31, 2025, online on mypoint.limerick.ie, via email to [email protected], or in writing to Rural, Culture Community and Tourism Development Directorate, Limerick City and County Council, Merchants Quay, Limerick.
