THE procurement and installation of dog waste bins across Limerick was on Cllr Shane Hickey-O’Mara’s mind at a recent full meeting of Limerick City and County Council.
The Social Democrats representative for City North said he had been asked about the provision of bins by residents on numerous occasions.
He was informed that the Cleansing Section of the local authority operates a system of any bag any bin for dog waste, meaning bagged dog waste can be placed in any general litter bin.
