STAR of the future Sam Curran from Eiremuaysiam thai boxing gym in Limerick City took home a gold medal from the recent WMO European Championships held in Cyprus.
The talented young Limerick fighter was one among a Team Ireland contingent of 14 to travel to Cyprus for the thai boxing championships, where he tested his mettle against other up and coming young stars in the sport from across Europe.
The young Garryowen champ took home the gold in his category, and received great praise from Eiremuaysiam gym head coach Robert Ng on his achievement.
