THE MAGIC of Christmas came alive for little heroes in Limerick this week, who were treated to a festive party and a meeting with the man himself at the Share A Dream Foundation’s play centre in Limerick.

The annual Christmas Party, attended by none other than Santa Claus and Mayor of Limerick John Moran, was a heartwarming celebration of joy and hope, dedicated to making dreams come true for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

The day included a dazzling Christmas performance and creative activities that ensured smiles on the faces of every child.

Mayor Moran shared his admiration for the incredible work of the Share A Dream Foundation, highlighting how the organisation embodies the true spirit of the season, bringing light and hope to families who need it most.

The Share A Dream Foundation, founded in 1989 by Shay Kinsella, is dedicated to making dreams come true for children battling severe illnesses and disabilities.

Through events like the Christmas party and their Dreamland centre, the foundation provides moments of joy and normality for children whose lives are often marked by challenges.

“Every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, no matter their circumstances,” said Share a Dream CEO Ciaran Doyle.

“We are so grateful to everyone who made this event possible, especially our volunteers, who give their time and hearts so freely to help us make dreams come true.”
