FINE Gael councillor Sarah Kiely asked at the November full meeting of Limerick City and County Council if there had been any update that could be provided on a verbal commitment given previously to examine the possibility of a community hedge cutting scheme, and whether it could be included in the Council’s budget for next year.
Cllr Kiely was informed by the Council executive that, subject to a final endorsement, provisions for such a hedge cutting grant scheme for members of the public and the community, could be made.
