A VERY special homage to a woman who has done a great deal for the children of Limerick who were living through the hardest time in their young lives has been unveiled.
A portrait of Sister Helen Culhane, founder of the Limerick Children’s Grief Centre, was hung at the hub she helped dream into existence.
The painting was commissioned of the Children’s Grief Centre’s founder on the occasion of her retirement this past year.
Crafted by artist Barbra Hartigan, it was unveiled recently.
