GARDAÍ are investigating after the body of a woman in her 30s was discovered on Mallow Street in Limerick City this Thursday afternoon (December 19).
Gardaí and emergency services responded to a report of an incident near the entrance to the People’s Park on Mallow Street at approximately 1.30pm.
A Garda spokesperson said that a woman, aged in her 30s, was discovered deceased. Her body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem will take place in due course.
Investigations are ongoing.
