Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) brings an exhilarating lineup to Limerick in its 2025 season, offering a diverse array of performances at the University Concert Hall.

Bach to Bowie (Saturday, 8 February, 7:30pm)

Experience the innovative artistry of saxophonist Jess Gillam under Katherine Hunka’s direction. This eclectic program features works by C.P.E. Bach, Nadia Boulanger, David Bowie, and more.

Beethoven 4 (Saturday, 15 March, 7:30pm)

Thomas Zehetmair conducts a powerful program featuring Mendelssohn’s The Fair Melusine, the world premiere of Áine Mallon’s The Morrígan with Mick O’Brien on uilleann pipes, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4.

The Four Seasons (Friday, 11 April, 7:30pm)

Violinist Henning Kraggerud reimagines Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with his own compositions interwoven, offering a fresh take on this timeless classic.

Beethoven Piano Concertos Nos. 2 & 4 (Thursday, 19 June, 7:30pm)

Kristian Bezuidenhout returns to Limerick with Beethoven’s vibrant and profound piano concertos, showcasing the composer’s genius despite his profound deafness.
