OVER 20 Limerick clubs, charities, and organisations have been given a share of €130,000 from Analog Devices.
As part of Analog’s Annual Community Awards and Charitable Donations Programme, over 39 charities and organisations across Munster, including 21 in Limerick, have been given a share of €130,000 in the platinum, gold, silver and bronze categories.
Milford Care Centre were given the ‘platinum level’ donation of €20,000 as a long standing partner of Analog Devices, while ‘gold’ donations of €10,000 were awarded to Limerick-based CARI (Children at Risk in Ireland), and ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services.
A silver award worth €4,000 was given to Limerick charity CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response, while 18 Limerick organisations were given the bronze donation worth €2,000.
Among the Limerick organisations to be awarded €2,000 were the Alzheimers Day Care Centre in Garryowen, Blue Box Creative Learning Centre, Boher National School, Dromore United FC, Fairview Rangers Girls Football Club, Fedamore GAA, and Kilcolman NS.
Limerick Boat Club, Limerick Camera Club, Limerick Musical Society, Our Lady’s Abbey Girls’ National School, Richmond RFC, St John the Baptist Boys’ National School, St Nessan’s National School, St Paul’s National School, St Patricks GAA, Summerville Rovers FC, and Young Munster RFC were also given donations.
Employees from Analog Devices facilities in Limerick, Cork and Dublin played a role in the process, nominating their chosen group or charity to receive a donation.
