A LIMERICK lady was honoured with a top prize at the recent Vision Ireland Vision Star Awards.
Holly Dagg, from Vision Ireland’s store on Cruises Street, was honoured with the Merchandising Maestro Award, celebrating volunteers who bring creativity and flair to Vision Ireland’s stores, turning everyday displays into eye-catching, vibrant scenes.
Holly’s skill in transforming shop windows and creating memorable displays has been an invaluable contribution to the Cruises Street store, Vision Ireland said.
Speaking after she picked up her award, Ms Dagg said that being part of the Vision Ireland team has been important to her.
“I am absolutely delighted to be recognised with the Merchandising Maestro Award. It means so much to be part of this team and to contribute to the store in a creative way. I love making our displays look beautiful, and it’s wonderful to know that my efforts have had an impact,” Ms Dagg said.
Elaine Williams, area manager for Vision Ireland Munster, said that “Holly has been a creative force in our Limerick store, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. The Vision Star Awards have been such a special event, and it’s fantastic to see our volunteers being honoured for their hard work and dedication.”
Aaron Mullaniff, chief services officer of Vision Ireland, added that the “volunteers are the core reason that Vision Ireland can reach the 296,000 people living with visual impairment or blindness across Ireland. It is through their commitment, passion, and dedication that we can offer our essential services.”
The inaugural Vision Star Awards were held to celebrate the work of Vision Ireland’s volunteers.
