IN-FORM trainer Eric McNamara hosted the launch of the Mr Binman Christmas Racing Festival at his immaculate Beechmount Stables in Rathkeale mid-week.
It’s 40 years since McNamara enjoyed his first winner at this meeting courtesy of For John.
The Festival aims to topple the collective 20,000 patron mark from St Stephen’s Day through to December 29.
Its track highlight is the Guinness Faugheen Novice Chase of €100,000.
