There’s gospel in the winter air in Limerick

Limerick Gospel Choir will host their annual Christmas Carol Concert this Sunday.

DELIVERING the sweet message of Christmas and peace on earth are the members of the Limerick Gospel Choir, who are deep in rehearsals for their annual charity Christmas concert.

A spokesperson for the choir said that “it is always an exciting event each year for us and something we really look forward to, we love the build-up and preparation and the event itself is always such a treat to be a part of, it is a great feeling that we can give back to the community especially during the Christmas season”.

The charity the choir have chosen to benefit from this year’s concert is Limerick Animal Welfare (LAW). Founded in 1983, over the past 36 years, the charity has helped thousands of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and a wide range of other animals on their way to their forever homes.

LAW also operates a no kill policy and provide a safe haven for unwanted or abandoned animals until a safe, responsible, and permanent home can be found for them.

The choir this year has some very special guests, including Naomi Carson, Nuschka Babela and the Milford Primary School Choir.
