A GIFT card that’s exclusive to Limerick officially launched this past week.

The Limerick Gift Card, an initiative of Limerick Chamber and Limerick City and County Council, aims to encourage people to spend in local shops this Christmas.

The Limerick Gift Card is eligible to be used in over 140 businesses the length and breadth of the county, including Penneys and Brown Thomas.

Mayor John Moran said that “local retail businesses are key to a vibrant Limerick.

They provide essential shopping and services, employment and broader support in our communities … They need our support too”.
