ABBEYFEALE United, whose fine venue suffered devastation during the recent Storm Bert, has received a timely boost of Є10,000.
It came courtesy of the club winning first prize in the weekend monthly Limerick GAA Development Draw.
Ironically, sporting rivals Fr Casey’s GAA (whose impressive facilities were also severely affected by the Bert) was the promoter.
