It’s Christmas time at the Milk Market

CHRISTMAS is coming to the Milk Market once again, with the popular local hotspot’s holiday offering kicking off on December 1.

The Milk Market is set to host a number of daytime Christmas markets throughout the month of December, starting with the Christmas Art Fair on December 1.

The following week, December 8, the Christmas Vinyl Record and CD Fair will take place, while on December 15, a Christmas Antique, Vintage, Craft Fair will offer a range of unique festive gift opportunities.

As well as this, Friday and Sundays throughout December will see a Christmas open air café in addition to the special events featuring Flying Cheese Farm Shop and  Grill, Bon Appetit Creperie, Harpers Coffee, Greenacres Cafe, SOS Cookies/Meltie Toasties, The Edge Clothing, Restory Crafts, and more from 11am to 3pm.

Friday December 6 will see a Transition Year Student Enterprise Market take place from 10am to 2pm, in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office (LEO), with a number of local schools showcasing their latest innovative projects.

Saturdays from 8am to 3pm will see the Christmas Food Market fill the Milk Market with local smells and flavours.

Santa will also be coming to town, landing down at the Milk Market on December 14 before he makes his worldwide journey on Christmas Eve. Younger members of the family will be able to post their letter to Santa from the market’s special Santa postbox, in association with Lumen Street Theatre, ahead of the big day.
