SHANE Dowling of Na Piarsaigh is the most high-profile addition to the Limerick Senior Hurling Pre-Season 2025 Panel, which was released by manager John Kiely ahead of the commencement of an imminent return of the Munster Champions to training.
A star forward for the county from 2012 until ‘20, the now 31-year-old has been prominent at club level as goalkeeper with Na Piarsaigh.
In the enforced absence of Nickie Quaid (although named on the panel), Dowling, along with Jason Gillane (Patrickswell) and Kilmallock’s Conor Hanley-Clarke, will provide Kiely with a serious option for the number one jersey.
