Successful Sunday Racing at Limerick

Connections of Too Easy celebrate a win at Limerick.

LIMERICK’S well-supported inaugural Sunday Meeting featured several finals at the weekend.

Father-and-son training duo Pat and Colm O’Connell of Askeaton landed the featured Ned and Babs Keating Memorial A2 (winners prize €2,000) with the impressive Starson Katie, which covered the 525 yard trip in 28.66 seconds.

Peakys Glory, trained in Ballysheedy by Neilus O’Connell, had plenty in hand in the Final of the Michael ‘Pascal’ O’Ryan Memorial.

In the Mace Shanon 600 Final, Too Easy landed the spoils for The Far Out Syndicate, whose membership includes former track manager James Murray.

Another fine winner was Kyletaun Coco, from the kennels of Joe Williams in Rathkeale, which scored in the Cratloe GAA Buster Race.
