IN THE year it is celebrating its 30th anniversary, Ballyneety Golf Club has been unveiled as joint host venue for the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup.
Two of the three days will be staged at Ballyneety, with the concluding round of action between Europe and the USA to be held at Adare.
This exciting announcement by Ryder Cup Europe adds to the anticipation and build-up to the main event, promising an unforgettable week for sports enthusiasts in Limerick.
Mayor of Limerick, John Moran said: “This is a fantastic announcement for the team at Ballyneety Golf Club and for the wider Limerick community. Hosting the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup not only highlights the club’s excellence but also showcases Limerick as a premier destination for international sporting events.
“It will tee-up the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor perfectly, adding to the significant economic and tourism benefits for the region. We look forward to welcoming the future stars of golf.”

Co-designed by 2014 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain, Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International, Declan Branigan, the course opened for play in 1994.
