Local fixtures as last 64 of FAI Junior Cup announced

MULTIPLE winners Fairview Rangers – who are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League – have been drawn home to Ballyheigue Athletic (Kerry) in the last 64 of the FAI Junior Cup.

Elsewhere, league holders Aisling Annacoty host Cloonfad United (Roscommon) or Castlebar Celtic (Mayo), Janesboro entertain Cahir Park (Tipperary), and Mungret Regional are away to Newmarket Celtic in Clare.

The fixtures are listed for the opening weekend of December.

Pike Rovers, who have exited the competition, advanced in the Munster Junior Cup with a commendable 2-0 win over Ballynanty Rovers. Both goals arrived in the opening half from Vojtech Ptacek and Dylan Murphy.

The Premier League continues at the weekend and on Saturday (7pm), Regional United welcome Janesboro and Aisling are home to Fairview.
