THE Bloodmill Road between the Garryglass Roundabout and the entrance to Amhraic an Muillean is to be closed from November 20 to February 13 to facilitate the construction of Active Travel infrastructure.
Limerick City and County Council confirmed that diversions will be in place via the Childers Road and the Ballysimon Road as closures are in place from 8am to 8pm from November 20 to December 1.
This will be followed by a full closure from December 2 to February 13.
Works will include the installation of Active Travel infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport to serve the new Educate Together Secondary School and the under construction Bon Secours private hospital.
