Safety measures needed on Bruff road, Council hears

Limerick Sinn Féin councillor PJ Carey.

SINN Féin councillor PJ Carey has urged the Council to undertake safety measures on all approaches to Bruff RFC grounds on the R516.

Cllr Carey was informed at a recent Cappamore-Kilmallock area meeting that the roads engineer for the district will review the R516 on the approaches to Bruff RFC to determine what safety measures, if any, may be required.

“Any safety improvement measures that may be determined necessary would be submitted to the relevant funding authority for their consideration,” Senior Executive Engineer Trevor McKechnie explained.
