YOUNG speechwriters across Limerick are invited to show off their rhetorical skills at ‘ActionTalks’, a speech-writing competition for 14 to 18-year-olds passionate about making a difference in the world around them.
This year’s themes for the 11th annual ‘ActionTalks’ tackles global issues of inequity relating to the climate crisis, women’s leadership in emergencies, and the role of overseas aid and women’s rights organisations.
With generous prizes up for grabs — including a €500 voucher for the national winner — finalists will compete in March judged by an expert panel.
