ARREN releases nostalgic new single ‘Dreams We Missed’

DUBLIN-based but Limerick-born artist ARREN released his latest single, ‘Dreams We Missed’, on Wednesday November 6. Inspired by the iconic sounds of 90s rock bands like Radiohead, Oasis, and U2, ARREN combines the scale of rock with the intimacy of a singer-songwriter, creating a nostalgic, reflective anthem that transports listeners back to childhood.

Dreams We Missed explores the memories of carefree days shared with friends, using a fusion of layered electric guitars and ethereal synthesisers to evoke the wistful dreaminess of adolescence. Produced by Gary Duncan of Red Lake Studios, the single also features performances from Toby Shane Roys, FER, and Tom Hartman, each adding depth to the song’s expansive soundscape.

“This song is very near and dear to my heart,” ARREN shared. “It’s a reflection on the beginning of my musical journey and the pure joy of making music with friends as a kid. I hope it brings listeners the same sense of nostalgia.” Dreams We Missed is the first release from ARREN’s upcoming debut album, Dark Earth, a project five years in the making. The single will be available on all streaming platforms.
