THE Limerick based Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) and Chamber Choir Ireland (CCI) will present Mozart’s renowned Requiem in Dublin and Berlin on November 17 and 23, respectively.
Mozart’s Requiem is celebrated for its beauty and emotional depth, exploring themes of death and the afterlife. One of the greatest works ever written for choir and orchestra, it conveys a soul’s journey from torment to spiritual peace.
The concerts will also feature the world premiere of Blood, a new composition by Irish composer David Fennessy, performed by ICO violinist Katherine Hunka and vocalists from CCI.
