A SNEAK peek into what will become one of Limerick City’s landmark business districts when finished is being offered to anyone who wants to see it this weekend.

Developers of the Opera Square project, Limerick Twenty Thirty, have invited the public to a viewing day at the vast site this coming Saturday (November 9), some nine months after work on the project first broke ground.

Such has been the progress of the One Opera Square build, a joint venture between Limerick Twenty Thirty and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, it has already reached top floor level and recently celebrated its ‘topping out’ ceremony.

Viewings will take place this from 1pm to 3pm, providing the public with an exclusive look into the site to witness the scale of the biggest project of its kind ever undertaken outside of Dublin.

The CEO of Limerick Twenty Thirty, David Conway, said it’s an opportunity for the people of Limerick to witness what for many will be the surprising scale of the project.

“When you’re driving around the site and it’s behind the hoarding, you’ve really no sense of the scale of the Opera Square project. Every person, without fail, who comes in here for the first time is amazed at the vastness and, indeed, at the level of works going on.”

Members of the public who want to attend Saturday’s viewing are asked to book online with Limerick Twenty Thirty by emailing [email protected] or by visiting docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdbxGisscdsHASucEBK2z-gZWCp-4MAPTklQIQGEPTo1DztRQ/viewform?pli=1.
