FOUR dedicated Limerick people were given the highest honour the Redemptorist order can confer at a special Mass celebrated last month.

Patrick Hanley, Charlotte Tuohy, Ann Guiltenane, and Frances Duggan were conferred with the title of Oblate of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

The titles comes in recognition and gratitude, the Redemptorists said, “for their long and continued collaboration and support of the missionary work of the Redemptorists”.

The conferrals were made at a celebratory Mass on October 16, coinciding with the feast of St Gerard, at the Redemptorists church in Limerick.
