Jacquelyn Dunne is an award-winning solicitor and the creator of The Journey folder.  Jacquelyn developed the folder to streamline both end of life planning and the probate process. This luxury guided planner gathers all those vital details your Will cannot capture.

What is The Journey:

“The Journey” is a beautifully crafted orange faux leather ring binder folder which contains all your vital information from financial information to personal touches like your favorite songs and funeral wishes, important contacts, sentimental heirlooms, details of pets and lots more. “The Journey” brings everything together in one place assisting an executor in managing your estate or providing clear instructions in the event of mental incapacity.
Motivation to Create The Journey:
Jacquelyn Dunne has made countless wills for clients since she started her practice over 11 years ago and over the years, she witnessed first-hand the overwhelming challenges faced by their families in navigating the aftermath of their loved ones passing or incapacitation- from locating bank accounts to handling ongoing memberships and direct debits. She searched online for a product or tool which could help her clients organise their vital information but the lack of anything on the market motivated her to create her own product. In January of 2022, “The Journey” took root.
“I know of a lady who had given instructions to her solicitor for her burial. Unfortunately, her wishes were only discovered after her burial”.

“In Ireland, if a bank account is inactive for 15 years, your bank must give it to the NTMA (a government body). It’s therefore so important that your family know exactly what accounts you have.

“The Journey Folder is more than just a planner,” says Jacquelyn. “It’s about providing peace of mind and ensuring that your wishes are respected. It’s a lasting gift to those you care about.”

Having worked on perfecting the folder and its contents over the past two and a half years and after countless samples and edits, Jacquelyn now has the folders in stock.
