THE Limerick City and County Council Traffic Team will review with An Garda Síochána Roads Policing Unit to determine if yellow lines are practical along Huntsfield Drive in Huntsfield Estate, in Dooradoyle to stop the excessive parking on footpaths.
This was the response from the Council to a question from Social Democrats councillor Elisa O’Donovan at a recent Metropolitan District meeting.
She was also informed that poor parking practices such as parking on footpaths and at entrances can be enforced by a member of the traffic authority without the requirement of double yellow line marking.
