THE Council has been questioned on the possibility of a survey being carried out on the right hand side of Childer’s Road between Castletroy View and The Parkway.
Fianna Fáil councillor Catherine Slattery pointed out at a meeting that there is a footpath left unfinished that needs to be connected.
The City East representative was informed that the Council’s Road Operations Department does not currently have an approved budget to install a footpath at this location.
“However, we identify the merit of this request and we will look to source funding from the NTA,” a Council spokesman commented.
