THE 50 Plus Show, a lifestyle event for people 50 and over, is returning to the Greenhills Hotel Limerick on November 5 and 6 with over 60 demonstrations, displays, and exhibits.
Among this year’s headline attractions will be popular former RTÉ sports presenter Michael Lyster who will be interviewing some well-known Limerick sporting and musical personalities.
Sinead Ryan, known to many from her columns in the Irish Independent and the Home Show on Newstalk will also be speaking and available to answer questions on areas such as inheritance and the Fair Deal Scheme.
Other features of the show will include cookery demonstrations, keep fit lessons, personal finance advice, rights and entitlements, legal advice and valuations of notes, coins and stamps.
For the more creative, there will be five different craft workshops each day where visitors can try their hand at painting or crocheting and take home their work with them – all for free.
There will also be stands providing information on health, home and abroad holidays, joining a club or society, recruitment, volunteering, home energy, home security, and mobility aids.
