Regeneron’s annual “Day for Doing Good,” running from October 18-24, sees over 1,000 employees in Limerick join the company’s global volunteer initiative to support local communities. This year marks the event’s eighth edition, with Regeneron employees worldwide uniting across 13 countries for over 450 in-person and virtual community service projects.
With an estimated 7,000 volunteers participating, the initiative demonstrates Regeneron’s commitment to improving lives both through its scientific work and community engagement.
In Limerick, home to Regeneron’s Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) site, volunteers are engaging in impactful efforts such as large-scale environmental clean-ups and STEM outreach programs that will mentor over 500 students. Notable projects include refurbishing the Down Syndrome Limerick office and conducting environmental enhancements across the city.
“This initiative showcases our belief that true leadership extends beyond business,” said Niall O’Leary, Senior Vice President and Site Lead at Regeneron Raheen. “We are proud to give back to our community, fostering a future where innovation and purpose align.”
Regeneron’s “Day for Doing Good” reflects the company’s broader mission of corporate citizenship, which emphasizes social responsibility and community engagement alongside groundbreaking medical advancements.
