TREATY residents are invited to take a walk down memory lane with the opening of a new exhibition on the history of one of Limerick’s first foreign direct investment companies.
Former employees of the Krups factory, which closed in 1998, will be at the new exhibition which centres on the legacy of the company in Limerick.
The exhibition will showcase a collection of artefacts, stories, and memorabilia from the former Limerick employer, and was officially opened by Mayor John Moran on Thursday last week (October 10).
The exhibition will run until October 25 at the Innovation Hub at the LEDP, and will be open from 10am to 4pm daily.
The Krups factory opened in Limerick in 1964 and employed over 1,200 people at its height.
