FOUR LIMERICK schools are to each receive a €4,000 grant as they join the nationwide Creative Schools program in a two year initiative designed to bring culture and art to students across Ireland.

Limerick schools taking part in the programme include Nicker National School, John the Baptist Community School, Scoil Iósaf, and An Mhodhscoil, joining 184 other schools nationally.

As each school is supported by a Creative Associate, an individually crafted creative school plan will be made for each school taking part to ensure all students can fully immerse themselves in culture and art and expand their creative tastes with new skills.
