THE Technological University of Shannon (TUS) has been awarded the Athena Swan Bronze Award for its work to enhance equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) following a 12-month process that included staff consultation, detailed evidence analysis, and the creation of a four-year plan for continued equality at TUS.
Dr Carol Wrenn, EDI manager at TUS, said “the achievement of this Bronze Award and endorsement of our Athena Swan action plan demonstrates a commitment to furthering our work in support of both gender equality and equality more broadly.
“Our action plan is ambitious and we are committed to monitoring progress on this plan and demonstrating the impact of it,” she added.
