Older homeowners encouraged to take part in Council’s latest rightsizing scheme

Over 200 new homes have been completed at The Mills, Castletroy.

LIMERICK City and County Council is calling on homeowners over the age of 55 to consider rightsizing to a smaller home that could be more suitable to their needs while helping others find a place to live.

One-bed ground floor homes with their own private back gardens are available at The Mills in Castletroy, in what the local authority describes as “well established and well-serviced areas with plenty of amenities nearby”.

The newly-build homes were expected to be available by the end of September, with the closing date for applications (via limerick.ie) set at October 18.
