Late Night Empires release new single – Friendly Foal

SONGWRITERS Paul O’Riordan and NJ Dubhlainte are releasing music this Friday as Late Night Empires. The duo have been writing together since they were kids rocking out in their garages playing under many monikers over the years including Fuchsia, Newland Gesture (with drummer Darren Nash of this parish), Red Eskimo and Changing Trains.
Paul explains, “The idea of this project is to work with a professional producer for the first time and re-imagine some of our old songs along with recording and finishing some new songs.”
Completing the lineup is Rob Carey (bass), Barry Johnson (drums) and Damien Moore (brass/strings). The band have made a strong start with the track ‘Friendly Foal’ produced by Gary Duncan and recorded at Red Lake Studios. The album will be titled, ‘I Dreamed a Life’.
