LIMERICK Fine Gael TD and Minister of State for the Office of Public Works, Kieran O’Donnell welcomed the Council’s plans to carry out a major extension to Castleconnell Playground, located at the Ferrybank in Castleconnell.
Consultants will shortly be appointed by the Council to design this major extension and enhancement.
“This Castleconnell Playground extension is something I have been working on extensively with local residents and families to ensure there is a playground in Castleconnell village that can accommodate the growing populations of families and children in the area.
“Whilst the current playground has served the area over time, there is now a great need for a major extension and enhancement to be carried out at Castleconnell Playground,” he said.
