Treaty United to face Cork City at Turner’s Cross

CHASING a commendable third win on the trot, Treaty United face a difficult task away to runaway champions Cork City at Turners Cross Stadium on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).

Treaty’s weekend 3-1 home win over Longford was most noteworthy for a first goal for the club by young Adam O’Halloran.

In the Women’s Premier League, Treaty host Galway United on Saturday.

Elsewhere in soccer action, the FAI Junior Cup continues on Sunday morning (10.30am), and among the fixtures are Regional United at Pallas United, Mungret Regional home to Moyross United and Caherdavin Celtic v Janesboro.

In the pick of the weekend Munster Junior Cup fixtures, Aisling Annacotty (with goals from the outstanding Leon Daly, Alex Cuddy and Conor Coughlan, 2) were impressive 4-2 winners at Fairview Rangers (Adam Dore and Shane Duggan).
