CASTLECONNELL locals are invited to a public event this weekend to experience all that community groups in the area have going on.
A Community Groups Expo will take place in Castleconnell Parish Hall so that the groups in the parish of Castleconnell, Ahane and Montpelier can showcase all the work they do and inform the local community of the extensive and varied voluntary activities each group or club does.
Organisations such as the Castleconnell Action Network, ACM, Castleconnell Parish Hall Team, Love Castleconnell and Ballyhoura Development, will be there on the day.
The expo takes place on October 6 from 12pm to 2pm.
